Privacy Policy

The short version: DugoutStats does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no tracking. 

Who we are

DugoutStats is a baseball and softball scorekeeper app developed and published by an independent developer. You can reach us at support@dugoutstats.app.

What data we collect

We collect no personal data. DugoutStats does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other identifying information.

The only information the app stores is what you choose to enter:

• Team name and player names / jersey numbers you add to your roster

• Game scores, at-bat outcomes, and stats you record during games

• League standings and game history

• App settings such as team name and league name

All of this data is stored locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage. It never leaves your device. We cannot access it, and we do not receive any copy of it.

Analytics and tracking

DugoutStats does not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any similar service. No usage data is collected.

Third-party services

DugoutStats does not integrate with any third-party services that collect data. The app operates entirely offline and does not make any network requests.

Sharing your stats

The app includes a "Share result" feature that lets you share a game summary via your phone's native share sheet (iMessage, WhatsApp, email, etc.). This sharing is initiated entirely by you and goes through your phone's standard sharing system. We do not receive any copy of what you share.

Children's privacy

DugoutStats is designed for use across all age groups, including youth leagues. Because we collect no personal data whatsoever, the app complies with children's privacy laws including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). No data is collected from users of any age.

Data deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are always in full control. You can clear all app data at any time from within the app (Settings → Reset all data) or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling DugoutStats removes all associated data from your device.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy in the future — for example, when V2 features such as cloud backup or league sync are introduced — we will update the effective date at the top of this page and note what has changed. Any future features that involve data leaving your device will be clearly described and opt-in.
